Klango Network

In this newsletter we present you a short road-map for Klango for the incoming two months.
The final version of Klango 3 is on the horizon!

Let’s start from the present day: Klango 3 “Beta 6″ is scheduled to appear this friday. It will include bugfixes and support for multiple forums for all Klango Groups.
We all will be able to taste the full potential of Klango Groups and customized Mini-Klango. You can build your own community using this tools. It’s a great adventure. Give it a go If you haven’t tried yet and join over 200 group-owners who make friends, support their community and dissus in their own groups often using pivate, customized versions of (Mini-)Klango.

We plan to release at least one more “Beta” during this August and after that we will prepare the major release, Klango 3 the Final Version. Preparations should be finished in mid-September, so recently, we have scheduled Klango 3 Final for the second half of that month. In the second half of September the ten-month adventure called Klango 3 will be ended and you will be able to enjoy the full potential of the new Klango.Net client software. There are still features of the new Klango which are being developed and are unannounced so far. So, stay tuned. *smile*.

As always, we would like to thank you very much for sending us suggestions, comments and bug reports. Thanks to them we are able to create stable and functional software. Without your feedback it would be simply impossible.
Klango always has been, and is still being created by and for the whole Community.
It’s a great honour and we are very happy to be part of it.

Please launch your Klango 3 Beta and upgrade it to even better version Beta 2. A lot of issues have been quickly revisited and some features have been added. We have also updated the Klango Twitter application and released TransTool and Prompter Creator mentioned in earlier post.

The interest in the new Klango 3 is huge, and exceeded our expectations, to be honest.
We would like to thank you for your enourmous positive feedback, hundreds of comments and suggestions.
Your feedback is priceless and we appreciate it.

We are working on a quick update addressing the most important stability-related issues.
It should be released this week — your klango will inform you when it is ready.
In fact, some problems have already been fixed on the server side (downloading Mini Klangos for example).

By the way: the Klango TransTool and Prompter Creator applications will also be released this week.

Teams of Klango Beta Testers and Klango Developers, over 70 people who are working together on Klango 3, are proud to introduce you this amazing piece of software.

People say that “Klango is the best accessible computer program in the world”.
We wont be modest here: they are right!

Please take a comfortable seat and let the program take you to a journey through the new, great lands of the Klango World.

We wont give you a precise list of new features. Below, we just give you directions and freedom of choice:

* Klango Community - see who is testing the new K3 together with you and don’t forget to set your status! Now you can also check your friends’ contacts. Finally. *smile*.

* Klango Groups. You should find at least one group which you are member of. You will have a lot of questions, and this group’s forum is the place where you should be able to find some answers. Have you ever thought about creating your own forum and community? Such dreams come true here in Klango 3.

* New blogs: Your previous microblog posts should wait for you there. It’s time for spring cleaning *smile*. It’s also a great opportunity to write down your first impression on the new Klango.

* Klango Chat - although the program is still under developement, you can easily chat with your friends in multiple rooms using this simple app.

* Quick Web Viewer (and RSS) - want a fast preview of a web page? Here you are. Nothing is faster than QWV.

* Klango Twitter - haven’t got a Twitter account yet? Why? You would be able to follow your friends. *smile*

* Klango Typist - are you a keyboard master? Huh?

* Mini Klango - at the end of the journey, a royal dessert. How about creating your own, private, customized Klango? It’s no problem with Klango 3. Really.

During the journey you will find tens of little gems, little changes which, together with above major features, makes Klango 3 a real step forward.

Although it’s still a beta version, one big feature is still mising (we will discuss it later this month), this program is far more stable than the last Klango Player 2.0.9.

However, if you encounter any problems and bugs, please report them in the “Klango 3 First Contact” poll in the “Welcome to Klango 3″ group. Please leave there also your questions about K3.
